Hello Everybody! I'm back!

Hi everyone! I'm back. After suffering from tennis elbow in both arms since October 15th which has prevented me from typing and still limits every aspect of my daily living, I'm well enough to type for a few minutes at a time now. The nerve damage causes severe pain and spasms but I'm thankful that it is a little better thanks to the shots and pain meds I've been receiving. Then I caught swine flu and was away from work, school, and the outside world from October 31st through November 9th. So you can see I'm a little behind and I do apologize. I have been to the first two museums on my tentative schedule and I must say the Whitney museum was impressive. It featured one of my favorite abstract artists-Georgia O'Keefe. I will be posting pictures, comments, and my first paper this week. I'm really excited about writing my first paper. I hope you enjoy my postings.

Museum #3: Wadsworth Antheneum

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I visited the Wadsworth Antheneum on 11/21/09 with my daughter and fiance. I had never been to the museum before and was pleasantly surprised with the exhibits. I've posted only pictures for this visit. Check them out on my blog. Enjoy!

Museum 2: Yale Art Gallery

I've just posted my next visit to the Yale Art Gallery. I was absolutely amazed at the piece that I chose to highlight on my blog. The sculpture is entitled "Drug Addict". The hyperrealism in this piece just blew me away. Visit my blog and you'll find more pictures of this fabulous piece.

Above is the list of museums that I plan to visit. I have already visited the Yale Art Gallery and will post my paper to the blog along with my pictures later today. I am looking forward to experiencing everyone's trips through their perspective. I have gone to a few of these museums before, but am always amazed at the new things that I learn on each visit.

I would even expect your first paper to be posted by now as we will be heading into week 3 next week.  Waiting until later to post several things at once is unacceptable.  As you post new work to your blog, you should post a short lead in to it with an image here.
